Accountability Ministries - Our Purpose and Outcomes


	Teach biblical principles that help people grow in their knowledge of Jesus Christ and the ways in which He communicated with people. [Jesus said,] “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). Encourage mutual accountability among brothers and sisters in Christ for becoming more and more like Christ – less and less like the world in the way we communicate. “Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual but as worldly – mere infants in Christ. I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men?” (1 Corinthians 3:1-3) Serve as co-laborers in the Great Commission. Then Jesus came and said to them, “…Go and make disciples… teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:18-20a). [Jesus said,] “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you” (John 15:12).


	Mature Christians who are being transformed into the likeness of Christ, rather than being conformed to this world. (Romans 12:2) People communicating as Christ would – bearing witness unto Him. (John 1:17; Ephesians 4:15; 2 Timothy 2:24-25) Unity among God’s people that brings praise to God. (Psalm 133:1; Acts 4:32; Romans 15:5-7) Effective ministry teams that cultivate an environment of listening and other-mindedness. (Romans 12:10; Philippians 2:3-4; James 1:19-20) People drawn to Jesus as your congregation becomes known by sincere Christ-like love for one another. (John 13:35) God is glorified as Christians experience authentic biblical community, living and ministering as “salt” and “light”. (Matthew 5:13a; 14a; John 15:5-8)
